Artemis Academie, based in Amsterdam, is a leading design academy in the Netherlands, specialising in Trend Forecasting, Art Direction, Styling and Design. Through close collaboration with the creative industry, our Bachelor of Arts programme equips students with the knowledge, skills and mindset to meet the challenges and opportunities of tomorrow.
We educate the next generation of creative concept developers, innovative thinkers who combine research, trends, strategy and design to create meaningful concepts for brands, products, spaces and experiences. AT THE HEART OF THE CREATIVE INDUSTRY
Artemis Academie is a private institute for higher education in the creative industries, based in Amsterdam. Since 1988, we have been preparing students for careers in design, branding, trend forecasting and creative strategy through industry-focused education.
Originally founded as a school for styling, Artemis Academie has evolved into a leading academy for creative concept development. In close collaboration with industry professionals, brands and cultural organisations, we continuously adapt our curriculum to reflect the changing needs of the creative sector, empowering graduates to shape what's next.
The creative industry is one of the fastest-growing and most influential sectors in the Netherlands. At Artemis Academie in Amsterdam, we believe creative education should move with the world around us. That is why our curriculum is continuously shaped by developments in society, culture and the creative industry, together with the insights of our students, alumni, lecturers and professional partners.
Artemis Academie is a creative academy in Amsterdam specialising in Trend Forecasting, Art direction, Styling and Design. Our Bachelor of Arts programme prepares students to become all-round creative concept developers. In the first two years, students explore and connect all three disciplines, learning to move from research and trend analysis to concept, creation and communication. In the third year, they choose a focus area and develop their own expertise, vision and creative style.
Our education is built around four essential steps: research, conceptualisation, creation and communication. By bringing these elements together, students develop the skills to understand what is happening in the world, translate insights into strong creative concepts and communicate them through compelling visual stories.
As a small scale private academy, collaboration and co-creation are central to the way we work. We connect students, lecturers, alumni, creative professionals, businesses and social organisations to ensure our education remains relevant to the industry and society. Alongside our bachelor’s programme, we also developed our Professionals program, offering advanced courses and training for creative professionals.

The main task of the team is to monitor the quality of the various study programmes and courses. To do this, we closely monitor developments within the field, partly through up-to-date input from the large and diverse group of guest lecturers, in order to keep the courses up to date and to properly prepare creative talent for a successful career in the creative industry.
